2. Description of Munim Book Services

Munim Book is an offline-first mobile business accounting, invoice generation, khata ledger, and thermal print management application designed for Indian small and medium businesses (SMBs), including taxi/cab operators, jewellers, retail/kirana stores, wholesalers, distributors, contractors, and freelancers. Key capabilities include:

• Creation of Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliant tax invoices and non-GST cash bills.
• Dynamic Bharat UPI QR code integration on invoices to facilitate instant digital payments.
• Direct dispatch of PDF invoices, receipts, and payment reminders via WhatsApp or SMS.
• Printing support via Bluetooth to 58mm and 80mm ESC/POS thermal receipt printers as well as standard A4/A5 PDF generation.
• Parties and Customer/Supplier Udhar Khata ledger tracking with balance summaries.
• Offline local data persistence with optional cloud backup and restore functionality.

3. User Eligibility & Account Security

To use Munim Book, you must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction and possess the legal authority to enter into binding commercial contracts on behalf of yourself or your registered business enterprise.

When creating an account or registering your business profile, you agree to provide authentic, accurate, and current information (including your legal business name, contact phone number, and GSTIN if registered). You are solely responsible for safeguarding the credentials and device access associated with your Munim Book installation.

4. Ownership of User & Financial Data

You retain full and unencumbered ownership of all data, text, product names, prices, party details, transaction histories, and images you upload or input into the App ("User Data"). You grant WebCultivation only the limited license necessary to process, store, encrypt, and synchronize this data strictly for the operation, technical maintenance, and backup of your Munim Book account.

5. Indian GST & Tax Compliance Disclaimer

Indian tax legislation, including the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (CGST), State Goods and Services Tax Acts (SGST), and Integrated Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (IGST), imposes strict statutory duties upon taxpayers. As a user of Munim Book, you expressly acknowledge that:

• You are solely responsible for verifying the validity and accuracy of your Goods and Services Tax Identification Number (GSTIN), Harmonized System of Nomenclature (HSN) codes, and Service Accounting Codes (SAC).
• You are solely responsible for selecting the correct applicable tax rates (e.g., 0%, 5%, 12%, 18%, 28%, or applicable cess) and determining whether a supply is intra-state (CGST + SGST) or inter-state (IGST).
• WebCultivation Technology is not a Chartered Accountancy firm, tax advisory, or government body, and shall not be held liable for any tax penalties, interest, audits, or disputes arising from user configuration errors.

6. Intellectual Property & App License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, WebCultivation grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use Munim Book on compatible Android devices owned or controlled by you for your legitimate business purposes.

All trademarks, software source code, algorithms, user interfaces, branding, visual designs, database architectures, and documentation associated with Munim Book remain the exclusive intellectual property of WebCultivation Technology and are protected under Indian and international copyright and intellectual property treaties.

7. Android Permissions & Acceptable Use

To deliver its specialized features, Munim Book may request explicit runtime device permissions on your smartphone:

• Storage / Media: Required to generate, save, view, and export PDF invoices and Excel/CSV spreadsheets onto your local device storage.
• Bluetooth / Nearby Devices: Required to discover, pair with, and transmit ESC/POS commands to 58mm/80mm Bluetooth thermal printers.
• Camera: Optional; utilized to capture photographs of paper supplier bills or expense vouchers to attach directly to purchase entries.
• Contacts: Optional; utilized exclusively when you choose to import party phone numbers for sending billing PDFs via WhatsApp.

Prohibited Activities:

You agree not to:

• Use the App to generate fraudulent, fictitious, or forged invoices, tax credits, or bogus bills in violation of Indian financial laws.
• Attempt to decompile, reverse-engineer, modify, or extract the source code or proprietary algorithms of Munim Book.
• Introduce malicious scripts, viruses, or automated scraping bots to the App or backend synchronization infrastructure.
• Resell, sublicense, or distribute the App package to unauthorized third parties without prior written consent from WebCultivation.

8. Free Tier, Subscriptions & Billing

Munim Book is free to download on Google Play with core billing and offline ledger features. We may offer optional premium subscription tiers for extended cloud storage, multi-device sync, custom invoice templates, or advanced business analytics.

All in-app purchases and subscriptions processed through the Google Play Store are governed by Google Play's Billing Terms of Service and refund policies. Fees paid are non-refundable except where explicitly required under applicable consumer protection legislation or Google Play policies.

9. Offline Storage & Backup Synchronization

Munim Book is engineered with an offline-first architecture, storing your ledger records and bills in a secure local database on your device. While the App operates smoothly without internet, you are responsible for maintaining regular backups (via Munim Book cloud sync or manual export) to prevent data loss in the event of hardware damage, device loss, factory resets, or operating system failures.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Munim Book and all associated documentation are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, statutory, or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular business purpose, and non-infringement.

WebCultivation does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with every third-party Bluetooth thermal printer model, Android custom ROM, or hardware variation.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, WebCultivation Technology, its directors, developers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, commercial interruption, lost business data, or penalties levied by tax authorities, resulting from:

• Your use of or inability to access or use the App.
• Inaccuracies or errors in user-entered financial, tax, or party details.
• Hardware failure, loss of device, or failure to maintain regular cloud backups.
• Unauthorized access, alteration, or interception of data by malicious third-party actors outside our reasonable control.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless WebCultivation Technology, its officers, employees, and agents from and against any third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or legal costs arising out of your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the App, or your infringement of any law (including tax laws) or rights of a third party.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by, construed, and enforced exclusively in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without giving effect to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Munim Book application shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located at Palanpur, Banaskantha District, Gujarat, India.
